Refurbishment and extension to a 3,800 sq.ft semi-detached property for a Hollywood cinematographer and muscian with a keen interest in gardening. Originality and spatial zoning were important. Extension was proposed and the area of the housedoubled with the space opened up to a landscaped, sunken garden.

 

Retractable roof systems enabled bluriing of lines between exterior and interior. Particular emphasis on energy conservation and exploration of LED lighting systems customised for different uses of spaces such as entertainment, cooking, music, rest and sleep. Landscape design and styling.
